Well, it started with an ambition from both of us, since we met we have both wanted to complete the Pennine Way. When chatting to Rob's mum earlier in the year about it, she revealed that it was her one regret that she had not done it, to both our surprise. Sadly Mum(Jean) passed away at the end of March this year, so we decided to complete the PW in celebration of her life and try and raise money for Cancer Research and Macmillan Cancer Support.
